Programatron: Is a course or are courses that are supported by a cognitive synergism. The synergism is intended to encourage higher order thinking processes by combining a subject of interest, such as art with one or more related disciplines, such as earth science or sociology. The combining of these elements encourages the desire toward effective reading, writing, explaining and discussing an activity that is of a strong personal interest to the student.
